Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX6, now supported in Serato DJ Pro
Fresh off the block from Pioneer DJ – the DDJ-FLX6, a brand new four-channel controller that’s now supported in Serato DJ Pro.
It’s the best of both worlds, combining exciting new features with a professional club-style layout, while staying portable and affordable.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the new bells and whistles you’ll get out of the DDJ-FLX6.
Merge FX
Merge FX is a brand new feature that makes it easy to mix between different styles of music.
There are four built-in presets containing a combination of Serato DJ Pro effects and looping controls, allowing you to create opportunities for exciting transitions, no matter the BPM or key of the next track.
Jog Cutter
This is the perfect way to start introducing scratching into your set while still developing an understanding of scratch rhythm and timing.
When Jog Cutter is activated, moving the jog wheel will apply a professional scratch effect to the last Hot Cue or playback position used on that deck.
There are 10 different scratch patterns that can be maneuvered through by moving the platter back and forth.
Scratch Bank
First introduced for the Pioneer DJ DJM-S11, the DDJ-FLX6 is the second piece of hardware to get Scratch Bank.
This allows you to easily load scratch samples or full tracks using this new Pad Mode in Serato DJ Pro. This feature will continue to be rolled out to selected pieces of current and upcoming hardware, so keep your eyes peeled.
Large Jog Wheels
The CDJ-sized Jog Wheels provide a natural feel when scratching or pitch bending.

Unlock Serato DJ Pro
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX6 unlocks Serato DJ Pro for free. It also includes Expansion Pack vouchers for Pitch ‘n Time DJ and Serato FX so you can enjoy the full potential of the controller.
